Our policies

The policies that govern how ULA runs, and where each one is up to.

ULA is finalising its policies with its board. Each policy is published here in full once it has been formally adopted, with the date it was adopted and when it's next due for review.

Partners and funders who need to see a current draft before adoption can ask us for a copy.

  • Safeguarding policy

    Being finalised

How ULA keeps participants safe, including the role of the designated safeguarding lead, what staff and volunteers must do if they have a concern, and how concerns are recorded and escalated.

  • Anti-bullying policy

    Being finalised

ULA's approach to preventing, identifying and responding to bullying, so that participants, staff and volunteers feel safe, supported and valued. Covers what bullying is, how we prevent it, how we respond to incidents, and how we support everyone involved.

  • Behaviour management policy

    Being finalised

The expectations we set for participants, how staff and volunteers encourage positive behaviour, how we respond when expectations aren't met, and how behaviour incidents are recorded.

  • Data protection and GDPR policy

    Being finalised

How ULA collects, uses, stores, shares and deletes personal information about participants, staff, volunteers and partners, in line with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
